New Zealand captain Ken Williamson believes the World Twenty20 final against Australia will be played at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.
Aaron Finch's Australia will rely heavily on match-winning companies to present their first World Cup title in this format.
But New Zealand generally prefer team effort over personal intelligence and believe in a method that has led them to the finals in four of the last five global events.
"As a side, they (Australia) have got a lot of match winners and I think that's a big part of their strength," Williamson said.
"For us, we want to draw attention to the cricket we want to play and make sure it's the most important thing - go there, enjoy the event and get it in our style."
The current Test champions have lost pacer Lucky Ferguson and wicketkeeper Devon Conway due to injuries, and Williamson said they would "manage well together".
Elaborating on their style, the 31-year-old added, "It makes those adjustments and of course the courage to do it and play smart cricket and buy ideas for us as a team, whatever we try and do sincerely."
Williamson said there would be "some gains" for his team to become world champions in another format, but he did not rule out the possibility.
“Now where a game of cricket has to be played and for us, it is focusing on that and focusing on our cricket and going there to implement the things that are important to us.
"It's great to be here, a reflection of a lot of hard work, but tomorrow is a singles match and for us, it's trying to make that small adjustment again and really trying to keep the focus closer ..."
